Today, it's dedicated to a former ESC representant ;)
By the time the song was released, Gérard Lenorman already had big hits, the first one being made in 1972. The song was "Il"
Included firstly in his 1976 album "Drôles de chansons", "Michèle" became another big sucess for the singer. The B-side of the single was a song from the singer Nicolas Peyrac, "Et je t'aime"
He would later be selected internally to represent France in the Eurovision Song Contest 1988, singing "Chanteur de charme", finishing in a respectable 10th place in a total of 64 points
